The Law Offices of Steven H. Mevorah & Assoc. were founded over 28 years ago with the vision of creating a small-sized law firm in a western suburb of Chicago. We concentrate our practice in Chicago and the Chicago suburbs in the counties of Dupage, Kane, Will and Cook. Our offices are located so that clients can visit their attorney and receive excellent legal services close to where they live and work, without having to go to downtown Chicago to meet with their lawyer.

What sets our firm apart is its focus on specialized areas of law within a general practice setting. We assist our clients whether they are in need of legal services with regard to Divorce, Child Custody, or other Divorce/Family Law issues, Personal Injury, Worker's Compensation, Chapter7 or Chapter 13 Bankruptcy, Criminal Defense, Immigration and Naturalization Services, Medical Malpractice, or Wills and Probate. Sometimes, areas of law overlap and the structure of our firm guarantees that our clients have access to the lawyer that is best able to meet their individualized needs.

Our lawyers have over 100 years of combined experience representing clients before judges and juries. We are tough, aggressive, and move cases toward resolution whether through trial, settlement, or alternative resolution. We understand how to work within the justice system and use its rules and procedures for our clients' best advantage. Our years of experience and tough-minded advocacy on behalf of our clients frequently enable us to reach a timely and successful resolution with opposing lawyers through negotiation and settlement. However, we will not hesitate to proceed to a jury verdict when it is in the best interest of a client.

As a client-centered law firm, we offer free consultations and flexible hours, including evening appointments Monday through Thursday 8am-8pm, Friday 8am-6pm and Saturday 9am-3pm. In case an emergency should arise, we are easily accessible, and we are able to meet with clients in their homes, hospitals, or nursing homes. We accept all major credit cards.  Satisfied clients are our greatest source of new clients and cases.
